“We did not get here alone. To all of our friends and partners, thank you!”

BRP | Evinrude

Our research vessel Skalugsuak was retrofitted with twin award-winning E-TEC G2 300 HP engines and ICON digital controls. Evinrude (BRP) outboard engines are consistently rated among the best outboard engines in the world and the new G2 is in a class of its own. They are also the cleanest and and the most environmentally efficient engines available on the market today.

Verreault Navigation

Donation, refit and maintenance of the R/V Skalugsuak. In a half-century marked by skill and dedication, the Verreault family has made a name for itself as a leader in the navigation, construction, transformation and repair of ships. We are proud that our new research vessel was donated and modernised by our local shipyard, renowned throughout the country as one of the finest.
