Please read the following information before directing your comments, questions, or concerns to the contact person below. We will reply as soon as possible.

For the MEDIA: Please note that we normally do not comment on shark stories or incidents that take place outside of Canada.

For SPORT DIVERS: Please note that for safety and legal reasons, we usually do not respond to enquiries pertaining to sport diving with sharks (where, when, how). Also, our vessel is licensed by Transport Canada solely for the purpose of scientific research. Therefore, we do not conduct recreational dive charters.

For UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHERS: We do not carry freelance photographers aboard our boats nor do we guide photographers underwater during our research activities.

For SCIENTIFIC DIVERS: Divers taking part in our research activities must be members in good standing or members in training of the Canadian Association for Underwater Science (CAUS) or equivalent (AAUS, SDSC, etc.). They must provide a current medical for occupational diving—a sport diving medical does not qualify—as well as certificates of training for CPR and oxygen administration. Training for Marine Emergency Duties (MED A3) is highly recommended.
